El técnico alemán permitió el acceso a las cámaras en el primer cuarto de hora del entrenamiento matinal, que tuvo como gran protagonista a Benjamin Kugel, el nuevo preparador físico para esta temporada. El germano toma el relevo de Julio Tous, ahora en el fútbol base y las secciones, en su primera experiencia en el fútbol español tras su paso por Werder Bremen, Colonia, PSV Eindhoven y Benfica, así como casi una década en el ‘staff’ de la Federación Alemana de Fútbol. Allí coincidió con Flick, asistente entonces de Joachim Löw, contribuyendo ambos a conquistar el Mundial de 2014.
